A Need for Renewal

We are praying for our community and for our nation!

It was great to re-open church this past weekend. We saw again so many of our friends and were able to worship together publicly. We did practice social distancing and sanitizing at our church building. First Baptist will continue to worship regularly Saturday evenings at 6:00 and Sunday mornings at 10:00, as well as Wednesday midweek service at 6:30 PM.

We are praying for protection and deliverance from coronavirus! By the way, for those not ready to re-engage in public, we continue to “live stream” on this website our Sunday morning worship service at 10:00 AM each week. Also, we are putting our Wednesday night Bible study & prayer meeting online through Zoom. You will need our new password each week from Kathy Vaughn.

We are praying for racial healing and harmony in our nation! There is no room in the Christian heart for racism or racial injustice. God is calling a people out of every kindred, race, language, and ethnicity! We are “one” in Christ. We need to love one another. Seek to understand one and other. And pray for one another. If we will do that, God truly will bless America!
